The last few months have been very artistically busy in many aspects for me such as; a new painting workshop, the creation of collective murals for Africa, the creation of a painting with the children at the Maple Fest 2012, planning and organizing fundraising for a project in Africa, and so on. The painting workshop for the men and boys group have been a real blessing for my family, my friends and I. I am very plea that each of the participant decided to create change in their life and contributed in others as well. This painting workshop isn't about just ourselves but also about others.
I am just finishing to review the next Painting Workshop for the Women and Girls Group setup, and I am very excited about it. I realized that I was a bit in a 'Box' with my own perception of being a coach and in the way to present the Painting Workshop 'Out of the Box'. I am always in a process of change and learning because I position myself to allow it happens. That doesn't mean that I won't resist to change but at least I choose to grow up and to mature to become the person that I am calling to be in life. If resist to change the life take care to remind it to me.
A new season of life is at the door for many people who are waiting to step out of their comfort zone and experiment life again. Do not be that person anymore but start to create change today!
More details will be available soon for the next painting workshop.
The men and boy's group painting workshop have been amazing experience. We had our last workshop last week and we created a collective canvas together. There is a lots of movement and it is colourfull.
Next Saturday is our opening reception and everyone is invited to come and look at the paintings that the group did and hear about their amazing stories. I am really proud of each of them. I am very privileged to be surrounded by my husband, my sons and my friends during the painting process through the weeks.
Here is another poem that Richard wrote for us last week.
Put down the brushes
The class has ended
Pictures lined up
Colors feelings blended
Each journey unique
Mixture of the past
With the future we seek
No words required
Art the connection
With artful expression
